In social studies,
we have finished the unit on geography and we are now focusing on answering the
question, “How does the environment affect the quality of life of the people
living in the community?” We are reading about Rosa’s environment in Peru,
Oksana’s environment in Ukraine, Tahar’s environment in Tunisia and Anil’s
environment in India. Of course we are always comparing this information to our
Canadian environment and our own quality of life.
